Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this “Legend Award” by the Los Angeles Press Club in 2017. Abdul-Jabbar played 14 seasons of pro basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as three seasons of varsity ball for the UCLA Bruins under coach John Wooden. This award features graphic artwork on a wood backing by the Swedish artist Helena Gibson. The artwork features a howling blue wolf over a red background. A black area is located near the upper right-hand corner. Printed on the bottom of the artwork is “Legend Award / Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Los Angeles Press Club 2017”. Gibson has signed the back of this 15 x 18-inch artwork. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
