New York Yankees ace Luis Severino wore this white Yankees home jersey on September 20th, 2017 against the Minnesota Twins at Yankee Stadium. The 23-year old Severino faced off against 44-year old Bartolo Colon, who signed with the Indians as an amateur free agent the year before Severino was born. Severino pitched the first three innings of this game, striking out three Twins, as the Yankees marched to an 11-3 victory. Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, and Didi Gregorius all homered for the Yankees in their authoritative win. Severino made his first All-Star team in 2017, compiling a 14-6 record with an ERA of 2.98 and 230 strikeouts in only 193.1 innings pitched.

This button-down Yankees home jersey has the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo sewn on the left chest in navy tackle twill. A black memorial armband in remembrance of longtime Yankee Gene “Stick” Michael, who passed away on September 7th, 2017, is sewn on the left sleeve. Severino’s number “40” is sewn on the back of this jersey in navy tackle twill below an MLB logo patch. This FlexBase jersey has extensive perspiration stains around the collar and upper chest. The back tail and sides of this jersey are constructed of a white mesh fabric. A Yankees barcode tag and Majestic size “48” tags are applied to the front left tail. Severino has signed the “4” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker. This jersey comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (D88471) for Severino’s signature, as well as a LOA from Yankees-Steiner Collectibles and an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 009260).
