This is Patrick Mahomes II’s jersey from the very first time he suited up in his NFL career. We believe it is the earliest game worn and authenticated jersey from his career. It is certainly the earliest photo matched jersey of his career. The Texas Tech star was the Chiefs 1st round draft pick, but with Alex Smith around and the Chiefs heading towards the playoffs, Mahomes did not get much playing time. Resolution Photomatching has matched this jersey to the one worn by Mahomes during the October 2, 2017 game against the Redskins. Kansas City won the game, 29-20, and although Mahomes did not get called upon to play, he can be seen wearing this jersey on the sidelines during the entire game.

The home jersey has Mahomes’ number “15” on the chest and shoulders in white and gold and a gold and white stripe rings each arm opening and the Lamar Hunt AFL tribute patch is sewn on the left chest. A size 40 Nike label is sewn inside the collar with a “2017” and “+5 LENGTH” hand tags attached. The back has “MAHOMES” and his number “15” in gold and white. The jersey is in outstanding condition with slight fraying to some of the threads and patches from laundering. Mahomes would get his chance to play in his first NFL game in Week 17 when he almost single-handedly beat the Broncos by completing 22 of 35 passes for 284 years and an interception. This jersey comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching for the photo match.
