Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers wore this white home jersey during his time with the AA Portland Sea Dogs in 2017. Devers played in 77 games with the Sea Dogs in 2017, hitting .300 with 18 homers and 56 RBI. Devers, only 20 years old when the season began, played well enough to earn a callup to AAA Pawtucket, where he took part in nine games before the Red Sox selected him for their Major League roster. Devers played in 58 games with the Red Sox after his callup, hitting 10 homers with 30 RBI and a .284 batting average. On August 13th, 2017, Devers hit a game-tying home run off a 102.8 mile per hour Aroldis Chapman fastball in the top of the ninth inning in an eventual 3-2 Red Sox road win over the New York Yankees. This was the fastest pitch ever hit for a home run in the StatCast era, as well as Devers’ first ever homer against a lefty hurler.

This button-down home jersey is made of a white mesh fabric. “Sea Dogs” is sewn on the chest of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. “DEVERS” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill over a matching red nameplate.
