After a wildly successful college career and notable though brief NFL career, Tim Tebow switched sports to try his luck at baseball, his first love. Persisting through all sorts of resentment and ridicule, Tebow landed with the New York Mets organization and celebrated by hitting a home run in his very first at-bat for his team. Later that season Tebow advanced from Class A to Class A-Advanced where he again hit a homer in his first a-bat for his new team. The former college star capped off his first season of pro baseball with a 12-game hitting streak and earning the respect of his many doubters when he was deemed a legitimate pro prospect by scouts and sportswriters. Tebow’s 2017 season used Rawlings CG5 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. Tebow’s spring training number “83” is on a Schutte sticker affixed to the knob, and the two-sport star has signed the barrel in silver marker. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16724) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a LOA from JSA (BB12027) for the signature.
