Andrew McCutchen played 130 games for the San Francisco Giants during the 2018 season, after spending the first nine seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In those 130 games, McCutchen hit 15 home runs before his trade to the New York Yankees. Five of those 15 home runs were hit while wearing this offered San Francisco Giants road jersey. In those five road games (April 14th, April 20th, June 8th, June 13th and June 14th) McCutchen combined to go 9-23 with those five home runs and nine RBI.
This Majestic Flex base size 42 jersey features “SAN FRANCISCO” sewn across the chest in black, orange and gold tackle twill. Black piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Majestic tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is screen-printed vertically on the center tail that has handwritten in black marker “6-14 6-13 4-14 4/20 & 6/8”. The back of the jersey has “McCUTCHEN” and “22” sewn on in black, orange and gold tackle twill. A rubberized MLB logo patch in Giants’ colors is sewn on the back neck and the sleeves have an orange/black/orange piping. The left sleeve as the Giants logo patch, while the right sleeve has a commemorative “60 SF 1958-2018” patch. This jersey displays moderate game use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JD194555), which authenticates that McCutchen wore this jersey during the April 14th, 20th, June 8th, June 13th and 14th games.
Also included in this lot are a pair of matching road gray Majestic Giants’ pants. These pants have an orange/black/orange piping stripe down each side of the leg. The interior waistband has the Majestic tag screen-printed that reads “GARR #22 2018 33-38-32 C” and a rubberized MLB logo patch in Giants’ colors is sewn on the center back waist. These pants show moderate game use with an approximate 3-inch diameter hole below the left pocket on the back of the pants. These pants come with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JD184664), which dates these pants to July 26th.
