After a solid 58-24 regular season record in which the Golden State Warriors earned the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, they cruised through the first two rounds of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, before nearly encountering a roadblock in the Houston Rockets. The Warriors managed to overcome a 3-2 series deficit with an emphatic 101-92 win in Game 7 that saw the Rockets shoot 7-of-44 from three-point range. The NBA Finals were an exercise in completion, with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry leading the Warriors to a perfunctory four-game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers – earning “The Dubs” their second-consecutive NBA title and third in four seasons.

Presented here is the 2018 Golden State Warriors championship ring presented to guard Nick Young, who spent his penultimate season in the NBA with Golden State during the 2017-18 season after coming over from the Los Angeles Lakers. Young appeared in 80 regular season games, mostly coming off the bench and chipped in with 7.3 points per game for the 58-24 Warriors. This enormous ring was made by Jason of Beverly Hills and has a first-of-its-kind feature design in a championship ring with a reversible top. The “white” side is covered with 74 diamonds which signifies the Warriors win total for the regular season and playoffs. The diamonds surround an image of the Golden Gate Bridge, which is left-centered on the front in blue sapphire and gold borders. Young’s number “6” is in raised gold to the right of the bridge. There are two Larry O’Brien Trophy’s on each side of the top, which were designed for the back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. The 2017 trophy is 17 karat gold and has a .17cts white diamond, and the 2018 trophy is 18 karat gold and has a .18cts white diamond. The reverse “blue” side has 74 sapphires with same design as the “white” side. The removal of the top reveals the slogan “Strength in Numbers” engraved. “2017” and “2018” are individually engraved on the top and bottom outsides of the top ring respectively.

One shank of this ring, which is the team side, has the “Town Jersey” logo, “Back 2 Back” and regular season record (58-24), which are featured. This team side of the ring includes 56 stones that represent the number of years the Warriors had been in the Bay Area at that time. The opposite shank is adorned with “YOUNG”, Young’s number “6”, the Bay Bridge and the “Just Us” slogan. This “player’s side” shank is filled with 58 stones that represent the team’s regular season wins. This ring is a size 13 and weighs approximately 112.94 grams. Also included with the ring is a beautiful 6 x 6 x 4 ½-inch black with a red stripe presentation box with a plate reading “2018 NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS NICK YOUNG”. The inside of the box is marked “JASON OF BEVERLY HILLS” and features lights and a spinning ring holder. This ring comes directly from Nick Young and will be accompanied by a player LOA from him as well.
