In what was easily the best free agent signing of the 2017-2018 off-season, Julio Daniel “JD” Martinez joined the Boston Red Sox, after spending the 2017 season between the Detroit Tigers and Arizona Diamondbacks. Martinez paid immediate dividends as the Red Sox jumped out to a 17-2 record and never looked back as they cruised to their third straight American League Eastern Division title, set a franchise record for wins with 108 and won the 2018 World Series.

Offered here are a pair of Adidas cleats that were worn by Martinez during the 2018 season. These dark gray cleats with dark blue and red accents are a size 12. The Adidas three stripes on red and appear on the outside toe of each shoe. The bottom of the cleats have a white “BOUNCE” border and the cleats are molded rubber. Martinez has signed each shoe in silver marker on the dark blue toe portion and inscribed “28” and “game used” on each shoe. These cleats show moderate game use with some dirt stains on the rubber cleats and these come with a STICKER ONLY from Steiner Sports (SS379205), with the hologram affixed to the heel of the left shoe.
