Luke Voit was an astute pickup by New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman during the 2018 trade deadline. Coming over from the St. Louis Cardinals, Voit’s hot second half of the season propelled the Yankees into the first Wild Card spot and helped fill the void of the injured Aaron Judge. This offered Sam Bat Maple MO23 Rideau Crusher model was used by Voit during the August 12th game against the Texas Rangers. Voit finished this game going 1-4 with a run scored during the Yankees 7-2 victory.

This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The lower handle has a LizardSkins grip to enhance the grip. The knob has the “MADE IN CANADA” sticker while the cupped barrel end has the hand-written bat specifications. This bat comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports (269189) and a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB720044) for the game use. Please note that MLB classifies this bat as a “Team Issued Broken Bat” which is a common designation for them collecting an item from a player on a different day from the specific event, in this case a day after the bat was broken. This bat has also been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching (425716) to the August 12th game.
