Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Soroka wore this 1974 Atlanta Braves throwback uniform – jersey, pants and a hat, in late June of 2018. This uniform style was the same style when Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record in 1974. The jersey is a white pullover made by Majestic and features “Braves” and his Soroka’s number “40” sewn on in blue, white and red tackle twill. The sleeves are blue with a blue, red and white feather design that is sewn on in tackle twill. The Majestic tag and size 48 flag are sewn on the bottom front left tail, along with an additional Majestic bar code tag that is screen-printed and reads “2018 48S1”. The back has Soroka’s number “40” sewn on in blue, white and red tackle twill and Soroka has signed his name in silver marker on the number “0”. This jersey displays light use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD130351), calling it Team Issued, a common designation for items not collected directly from the player.

The next set of items is a pair of game pants. The pants are white with red, white and blue stripes down each side leg and the pants have two snap-button fronts. These pants were made by Majestic and the Majestic tags are on the inside waists band and reads “#40 SOROKA 2018 36-41-36 OB S1”. The pants display light game use. The final item in this lot is a game used cap in the 1974 style. The cap is blue with a white front and blue brim. The 70’s style lowercase “a” is embroidered on the front in red, white and blue stitching. The cap is a size 7 ¼ and made by New Era. The Authentic Collection, New Era and size tags are sewn on the inside back headband. The hat displays moderate use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD128296), which authenticates this hat to the June 24th game.
