Atlanta Braves right fielder Nick Markakis wore this Braves white home jersey on Opening Day of the 2018 season, during Atlanta’s 8-5 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in the first game of SunTrust’s Park second season. Markakis completed the Braves comeback from a 5-0 deficit with the first walk-off home run of his career, a three-run blast off Phillies closer Hector Neris with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. This was the 166th home run of Markakis’ well-regarded MLB career. The former Orioles stalwart was named to the first All-Star Game of his career in 2018, finishing the season with a .297 batting average, 14 homers, and 93 RBI - Markakis’ most in a season since driving in 101 runs with the Orioles in 2009. Markakis also collected 43 doubles and ended the season with both a Gold Glove and his first career Silver Slugger.

This offered Braves home jersey is a white button-down with “Braves” sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill above a tomahawk patch. “MARKAKIS” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy tackle twill, while his number “22” is sewn below in red and navy tackle twill. An MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. The sides and back tail of this jersey are constructed of a gray mesh fabric. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram authenticating its use to the March 29th contest. Additionally, this jersey has also been photo matched by Photo-Matching & Grading, Inc.
