Former Arizona Diamondbacks star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt wore these Nike cleats during the D-Backs 6-3 victory over the New York Mets on June 14th, 2018 at Chase Field. Goldschmidt contributed a third inning solo home run for the Diamondbacks, taking Mets starter Jason Vargas deep to left field with two outs in the frame. This was Goldschmidt’s 13th home run of the season, and the 189th in the career of the current Cardinal. Goldschmidt had an excellent season in 2018, putting up a Triple Crown slash line of .290/33/83 with 33 doubles and 95 runs scored. The former Texas State star made his sixth consecutive All-Star team in 2018 and was awarded his fourth Silver Slugger at the end of the season.
These offered size “14” Nike cleats are purple, with gold Nike swooshes applied to each side of the shoes and black and gray digi-camo accents. The midsoles and assorted shoe accents are white. A gold “4” is applied to each tongue and a sticker bearing “Goldie’s” number “44” is adhered to the outside of each shoe. Printed on the heel of the right shoe in gold is “KIDS” and on the left shoe is “FUND”. The spikes on the sole of these cleats are white plastic. The cleats come with MLB Authenticated holograms (JD 277994, JD 277995) and Fanatics holograms (AA0034905, AA0034906).
