The former Duke star, known for his ridiculous, highlight-reel dunks and constant destruction of defenders, averaged 22.5 points per game on 58.3% shooting in his inaugural NBA campaign of 2019-20. In one of his most impactful NBA performances, Williamson led the New Orleans Pelicans to a team-record comeback against the Boston Celtics, scoring 24 of his 28 points in the second half or overtime to overturn Boston’s 24-point third quarter lead in a seminal 120-115 Pelicans victory on March 29th, 2021. A truly unique superstar, Williamson has his sights set on bringing the first NBA title to the city of New Orleans.
