Former Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols used this special pink bat for the Mother’s Day game played on May 12th, 2019 at Camden Yards in Baltimore against the Orioles. Pujols had four at-bats during the game. This Marucci AP5P-LDM pink Mother’s Day model bat displays light game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. The handle has an approximately 9 ½ inches long pink Lizard Skins tape on the handle to enhance the grip, along with a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. The bat’s manufacture date “05/07/19”, Pujols’ number “5”, length “4” and weight “1.8” are stamped on the knob. Pujols has signed his name in bold black marker on the barrel and inscribed below “Game Used 2019”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA () for the game use and has been given the highest possible grade of GU 10, plus an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ991913). Additionally, there is a STICKER ONLY from Beckett Authenticate (P61562) for Pujols’ signature and inscription.
