On August 10th, 2019, Cincinnati Reds outfielder Aristides Aquino became the first rookie in MLB history to hit home runs in three consecutive innings against the Chicago Cubs in a 10-1 Reds win at Great American Ballpark. Aquino collected a solo homer off Kyle Hendricks in the second and third innings before completing his trifecta with a solo blast off Dillon Maples in the fourth. Aquino, who homered in his previous three games before the August 10th contest, finished the game 3-4 with three homers, three RBI, and a walk.
Offered in this lot is an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseball used during Aquino’s sixth-inning at-bat against Alec Mills on August 10th. Aquino drew the walk on four pitches, with this ball pitched as ball number three. This ball is stamped with a Reds 150th Anniversary logo. Aquino has signed the ball below the Reds logo in blue pen, printing his name below his signature as well. This baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JD 770714) and a COA from JSA.
