San Diego Padres superstar shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. wore this white Padres home jersey on July 29th, 2019. The rookie infielder collected the 18th home run of his career in this game, an emphatic 8-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Petco Park. Tatis took Baltimore starter David Hess deep on his first pitch of the game, with Franmil Reyes going back-to-back with Tatis in the next at-bat. Tatis’ fellow rookie Chris Paddack tossed 5.1 innings of one-run ball to earn his seventh career win, while Eric Hosmer collected two home runs and five RBI in the contest.
Tatis enjoyed a fantastic 2019 rookie season, finishing third in the National League Rookie of the Year race with a Triple Crown slash line of .317/23/53 in only 84 games. The son of former Major Leaguer Fernando Tatis Sr., “El Niño” is poised to dominate the National League West Division for years to come.
This offered San Diego home jersey is a white button-down, with “PADRES” sewn across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. “TATIS JR.” and his number “23” are sewn on the back of the jersey in navy and white tackle twill. A Padres 50th season patch and a MLB 150 patch are sewn on the right sleeve, while an “SD” logo patch and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left. A Majestic size “46” tag is applied to the front left tail. The side panels and back tail of this jersey are constructed of a white mesh fabric. Tatis has signed the “2” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker, inscribing “HR #18” and “7/29/19” in addition to his rookie era signature.
