The right-handed batter finished his rookie season with an average of .317 with 22 home runs, 61 runs scored, and 106 hits over 84 games before a back injury sidelined the rookie during his stellar debut campaign. Tatis Jr. wore this presented San Diego Padres #23 road jersey during the Padres’ 10-5 shellacking of the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on June 26, 2019. Tatis Jr. singled to right field off of Dylan Bundy during the top of the second inning and hit an infield single against Richard Bleier during the top of the eighth inning during the victory.
This presented six-button navy jersey features the interlocking “SD” logo on the left chest in white tackle twill. The front placket, collar, and sleeves feature white trim. An MLB “150th Anniversary” patch rests on the left sleeve. A San Diego Padres “1969-2019 50th Anniversary” patch rests on the left sleeve. A Majestic “FLEXBASE” MLB AUTHENTIC COLLECTION size “46” tag is affixed to the left front tail. An MLB logo rests just below the rear collar. “TATIS JR.” appears across the back of the jersey in white tackle twill. The number “23” appears in white tackle twill on the back of the jersey. The jersey displays excellent evidence of game use and contains heavy dirty stains across the back of the jersey, a white stain on the right sleeve and right collar, and heavy dirt stains across the chest.
