Mariano Rivera not only made history on the field as being the greatest closer of all-time, but he also made history in 2019 when he became the first-ever player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame via a unanimous selection. To commemorate the occasion, Rivera has signed and multi-inscribed this pristine Official Major League Robert D. Manfred, Jr. stamped baseball. Rivera signed his name across this sweet spot in in blue pen with the Inscription “Hall of Fame 2019” and the limited-edition “1/6” marking.
On the panel above his signature, Mariano inscribed “Enter Sandman” and on the panel below he inscribed “All times saves leader”. On the panel with the MLB logo stamp is the inscription “82-60 2.21 ERA 1173 Strikeouts 652 Saves”. The panel with the Rawlings’ stamp has the inscription “5x W.S champ 13x All Star 99 W.S MVP 03 ALCS MVP”.
