The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees already have arguably the best rivalry in baseball and both teams made history when they faced off in a two-game regular season series on June 29 and 30 of 2019 in London, England – which was the first-ever regular season games played in Europe. Both teams put on an offensive clinic at Olympic Stadium, the home of West Ham United Football Club as they combined for 50 runs in the two games – both Yankee victories.

Offered here is the red alternate home jersey worn by Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts as he connected on his 16th home run of the season. The Red Sox were the home team in both games and the Sox wore their alternate jerseys during the second game on June 30th. This red Majestic Flex Base jersey features “RED SOX” in Tuscan font sewn on across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. The Majestic Flex Base tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is screen-printed vertically on the center front tail that reads “#2 BOGAERTS 2019 46TC”. The back has Bogaerts number “2” sewn on in McAuliffe-style navy and blue tackle twill. The MLB logo patch is sewn on the upper back collar and the right sleeve has the “MLB LONDON SERIES” patch, while the left sleeve has a green “BID FREEZE” advertising patch. Bogaerts has signed his name diagonally on the “2” and inscribed “GU 2019” on the top of the “2”. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (VS144099), authenticating that Bogaerts wore this jersey during the June 30th, 2019 game. Additionally, there is a LOA from Anderson Authentics (4065) authenticating that this jersey was worn in London on June 30th.
