A strikingly clear, cut signature example penned by George Washington graces the obverse of this admirable trading card. Washington (1732-1799) was the first President of the United States. He played a crucial role in the establishment of the U.S. as an independent nation, and remains familiarly known among Americans as, "The Father of Our Country." A statement on the card's back attests to the authenticity of the signature, and serves as Topps' COA. The unique, limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "1/1." The card projects a bright, barely circulated appearance.
