Presented here is a collection of three framed pieces of boxing memorabilia. The first item is an 18 x 22 inch display commemorating the famous “Long Count” fight between Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney. This display includes a 7 ½ x 9 ½ inch black and white photograph from the fight, as well as cuts signed by Dempsey and Tunney. Tunney has signed an index card in blue pen, while Dempsey has signed a second piece of paper in blue pen, inscribing “Good Luck” above his signature. The Tunney cut comes with a COA from JSA (A20949) and the Dempsey cut comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (D36414).
The second item is a similar display commemorating the Joe Louis and Max Schmeling rivalry. Included in this display is a 7 ½ x 9 ½ inch photograph of Schmeling and Louis at their weigh-in, a card from Louis-Schmeling II signed in black marker and inscribed “7/7-93” by Schmeling, and a cut signed by Louis in black marker. The Schmeling item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (D85149) and the Louis cut has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (12468870). This display comes in a 14 x 20 inch frame. The final item in this collection is a framed print of the fight poster from Louis-Schmeling II, in 1938. It measures 14 x 22 inches and comes in an 18 x 26 inch frame.
