Popularly known as “Gussie,” he built the Anheuser-Busch Companies into the largest brewery in the world by 1957 as company chairman from 1946 to 1975. He became a prominent sportsman as owner of Major League Baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals from 1953 until his death in 1989. The late Cardinals owner has signed “August A. Busch Jr.” in red pen on the sweet spot of a Rawlings - St. Louis Cardinals – KMOX Radio baseball. This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (AE13728).
