Presented here is a 4 ½ x 2 ¾ inch photograph of Babe Ruth carrying a small child. The Great Bambino was well known for his love of children, stemming from his childhood growing up at St. Mary’s Industrial School For Boys. The Babe is dressed in a long sleeved shirt and baseball pants with high socks, while the baby is wearing a white romper. Ruth signed the back of this photograph in black fountain pen, adding the inscription “Sincerely” before his signature. This photograph comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A03314).
