Presented here is a 3 x 5-inch black and white photograph on a 3 ¼ x 5 ½-inch paper backing of Babe Ruth in his road New York Yankees uniform. Based on the style of the uniform, this photograph dates to 1927 to 1930 when the Yankees had “YANKEES” on their road uniforms and was most likely taken during a barnstorming tour. Ruth is standing on the right with a man in a suit to his left and both are in front of an open wood fence with Ruth having his hands on his waist looking straight onto the camera. Ruth has signed this photograph in black ink across the legs of his image. On the back is handwritten in red marker "Phil Lewis" and "Mary Lewis wife Ann Schmelle daughter." This photo is in excellent condition, displaying only minor edge wear. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AI01066) for Ruth’s signature.
