As the most sought-after signature in the sports collectibles industry, this 3 ¼ inch x 5 ¼ -inch postcard has Babe Ruth’s distinctive signature on the back with the inscription “Sincerely”. This postcard was from the “Villanova Restaurant” located at “106-108 West 46th STREET EAST OF BROADWAY, NEW YORK 19, N.Y.” and has a caption of “FAMOUSLY KNOWN for ITALIAN CUISINE Finest of wines and Liquors Served and Moderately Priced”. The front of the postcard shows the interior of the restaurant with “VILLANOVA RESTAURANT – 106-108 West 46th Street, NEW YORK” printed on the bottom. Ruth’s signature is in black pen and is on the bottom left corner. The card is in overall good condition with minimal edge wear and some handling staining on the back. A great single-signed Ruth signature and it comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
