Offered is a dual-signed commemorative baseball bat with the signatures and inscriptions of Baseball Hall of Fame slugger Willie Mays and his godson, Barry Bonds, Major League Baseball’s career home run king. Mays won two National League Most Valuable Player awards in his 22-year career with the New York/San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. He ended his career with 660 home runs—third at the time of his retirement and currently fifth all-time in Major League Baseball history. The centerfielder was inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979. His godson, Barry Bonds, played 22 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants. He received a record seven NL MVP awards and is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He met and surpassed Mays in career home runs with 762, and also set the record for most home runs in a single season (73, set in 2001).

The black Sam Bat with a brown handle has a gold and black decal, “Mays 660 Bonds” with images of each slugger on the barrel, and their names printed in gold on the bat. Mays has signed his name in silver marker above the gold printed name, and inscribed “660 8 17 73” below the name. Bonds has signed his name in silver marker above the gold printed name, and inscribed “660 4-12-04” below the name. This item comes with a COA from Bonds (AP003576) and a hologram from Major League Baseball (BB183434).
