Hall of Fame Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox wore this throwback jersey during the Braves 10-8 home victory over their division rivals, the New York Mets, on April 8th, 2004. Johnny Estrada paced the Braves offense, knocking in a game-high four runs, and Marcus Giles chipped in with a 4-5 performance and two RBI. Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz closed out the game, earning the first of his 44 saves of the 2004 season.

This white pullover jersey is a throwback to the Braves iconoclastic 1974 style. “Braves” is sewn across the chest in blue, white, and red tackle twill. Cox’s number “6” is sewn on the front and back in blue, white, and red tackle twill. Feather patches are sewn on each sleeve. A Mitchell & Ness tag is sewn on the back inside collar, and Cooperstown Collection and “1974” tags are sewn on the front left tail. This jersey shows light use, including staining on the chest. Cox has signed the chest of this jersey in black marker, adding “#6” to his signature. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (MT 00304824) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use, as well as a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
