Offered is a very rare silver coffee set presented to Boston Red Sox employee John Pohlmeyer. Pohlmeyer is part of an iconic photograph that is offered in set. The offered 8 x 10 inch black and white photograph is of Pohlmeyer and Williams jogging in front of the famed Green Monster at Fenway Park. The photograph was taken by photographer Leslie Jones in 1950. The serving platter is approximately 12 inches in diameter and has two handles. Engraved in the middle are the two socks logo associated with the Red Sox and surrounding them is an intricate crest design. The tray displays tarnishing, but is in otherwise good condition and has “L.G. BALFOUR ATTLEBORO, MA” engraved on the back.

The next piece in this set is a 9 ½ inch tall tea holder with a rounded handle and rounded spout. All of the pieces are still intact on this silver item with a 4-inch diameter base. The hinge-top lid still opens and closes without any issue and the two socks Red Sox logo is etched on the front center. This piece displays tarnishing, but is in otherwise good condition and has “L.G. BALFOUR ATTLEBORO, MA” engraved on the underside of the base.

Completing this set are two additional pieces. The first piece is a 3 ½ inch high silver cream holder with a 2 ¼ inch base and rounded handle that has the two socks Red Sox logo engraved on the front. This item displays tarnishing, but is in otherwise good condition and has “L.G. BALFOUR ATTLEBORO, MA” engraved on the underside of the base. The last item is a 3-inch high silver sugar holder that has two rounded handles and a 2 ¾ inch base. The front has the two socks Red Sox logo etched and the removeable lid is still a part of the set. This piece displays tarnishing, but is in otherwise good condition and has “L.G. BALFOUR ATTLEBORO, MA” engraved on the underside of the base.
