We can thank the duo of Cheech & Chong for the genre that has come to be known as “stoner comedy.” Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong. The duo found commercial and cultural success in the 1970s and 1980s with their stand-up routines, studio recordings, and feature films, which were based on the hippie and free love era, and especially drug and counterculture movements, most notably their love for cannabis. The pair performed stand-up shows, released many successful comedy record albums, and starred in a series of low-budget films.

Offered is a unique collectible of the legendary comedy team of Cheech & Chong, a white plastic guitar pickguard signed by the pair.  Tommy Chong has signed his name in blue marker on the left center of the white marbled plastic pickguard, while Cheech Marin has signed and inscribed “Cheech 14” in blue marker in the center.  This item comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (Q53436).
