Nicknamed “The Blonde Bombshell” actress Jean Harlow made her major Hollywood debut in the Howard Hughes directed WWI War Film “Hell’s Angels” in 1930. Popular for her “Laughing Vamp” comedic persona, she became one of Hollywood’s biggest actresses during her nine- year career, starring in several hits for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, including “Red Headed Woman”, “Reckless”, and “Dinner at Eight”. She became MGM’s most popular star, until her life was tragically cut short due to Kidney Failure at the age of 26.
This presented key fob is for a dressing room used by Jean Harlow on the MGM set in 1930. The 2 x 2-inch metal fob and features the engraving of the iconic MGM Lion logo with “Metro Goldwyn Mayer” engraved on a banner below the logo. The other side of the fob is engraved “DRESSING ROOM 4B” and features “JEAN HARLOW” engraved in cursive on the bottom. The key fob is in good condition and exhibits some scratches and tarnishing on the edges.
