Over his 22-year career, Hall of Famer Dave Winfield collected a total of 3,1110, appeared in 12 All Star games, won seven gold gloves and six silver sluggers.  Winfield came into the Major League in 1973 with the San Diego Padres, who selected him fourth overall earlier that year in the draft.  Over the next several years he developed into an All-Star player in San Diego gradually increasing his power and hit totals.

This vintage yellow and brown Padres hat features the interlocking “SD” with the customary two tone yellow and brown panels.  The hat features Winfield’s number under the brim in black felt tip marker, which has faded slightly due to age and wear.  The inside of the hat shows great evidence of use and dates to the Mid-1970s during the early part of Winfield’s career. The Padres retired Winfield’s number 31 and he is also part of the Padres Hall of Fame as one of the organizations most accomplished players, prior to his stints with the New York Yankees and other organizations. These vintage Padres hats are ultra-desirable vintage relics and the hat has been authenticated by J.T. Sports for the game use and is accompanied by a full LOA.
