Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame centerfielder Ken Griffey Jr. wore this Mariners dugout jacket circa 1989-91, the era of Griffey’s first three seasons. An immediate success as an 18-year old, Griffey hit .264 with 16 homers, 61 RBI, and 16 steals in 1989. He continued to rapidly improve over the next two seasons, making the American League All-Star team in 1990 and 1991 while winning Gold Gloves in both seasons and a Silver Slugger in 1991. Griffey hit a career-high .327 in 1991, adding 22 homers and 100 RBI, reaching the 100 RBI milestone for the first of eight times in his career. Griffey played until 2010 and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016, appearing on 437 of the 440 ballots cast.
This offered Mariners dugout jacket is blue, with the Mariners logo sewn on the left chest. The sleeves, collar, and waist are accented with blue and yellow, while a white Starter logo is sewn on the back of the jacket.
