Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,483 and touchdowns with 17 during the 1989 season as he helped lead the San Francisco 49ers to their second straight Super Bowl title, winning Super Bowl XXIV over the Denver Broncos.
