The iconic Clayton Moore, the most famous man to don the Lone Ranger’s mask, wore this black belt with two holsters and pair of engraved revolvers during public appearances as the Lone Ranger. Moore appeared in two Lone Ranger films and 169 episodes of the hit ABC TV series, making him by far the most influential and important actor to portray the mysterious masked man. The belt in this lot is constructed of black leather, with two hip holsters attached. A metal placard on the belt is etched with “Property of Clayton Moore / The Lone Ranger CM4131”.
The two revolvers in this lot are made of silver metal with a wood handle. “The Lone Ranger” and “BKA 98” are etched on the silver metal below the cylinder. The revolvers do not appear to be fireable, however these are nonetheless incredible relics from the Golden Age of American media.
