Offered here is a collection of correspondences to and from Harry S. Truman, the 33rd President of the United States. Truman presided over one of the most volatile times in American history and was responsible for the decision to drop the two atomic bombs. These letters are from a more peaceful time in Truman’s life after his presidency, and discuss light hearted topics such as summer vacations to Bethany Beach. Seven correspondences are included in this set. They represent an insightful look into the life of one of America’s most important leaders. This set comes with a University Archives LOA.
