Offered here is a collection of seven single and multi-signed playbills. The first, from the 1973 performance of Habeas Corpus at the Lyric Theatre, has been signed on the front cover by Patricia Hayes and Phyllida Law, while Sir Alec Guinness has signed the inside and inscribed “Good Wishes”. The second playbill, from the 1975 production of All Over Town at the Booth Theatre, has been signed on the front cover by Cleavon Little, who also starred as Sheriff Bart in the classic Mel Brooks comedy Blazing Saddles. Several other signatures are present on the back cover. The third program, from A Moon for the Misbegotten, has been signed by Jason Robards, Collen Dewhurst, and Ed Flanders. The fourth program, from the Albery Theatre’s 1973 production of The Constant Wife, has been signed by Ingrid Bergman. The next playbill, from the Albery’s 1977 performance of Candida, by Bernard Shaw, has been signed by Deborah Kerr, Denis Quilley, Leslie Sands, Simon Jones, Maureen Lipman, and Patrick Ryecart. The sixth playbill, for A Chorus Line’s February 1976 run at the Shubert Theatre, has been signed on the front cover by Milton Berle. The final playbill in this lot is from Chicago’s 1975 run at the 46th Street Theatre, and it has been signed by Jerry Orbach. This lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication Services.
