Scott Putesky, a.k.a. Daisy Berkowitz, was a founding member of industrial metal band Marilyn Manson and one of the most celebrated metal guitarists in recent memory. Berkowitz was a key contributor on the seminal Marilyn Manson album Portrait of an American Family, the band’s first full length studio offering, composing the music for many songs, including “Get Your Gunn”, “Dope Hat”, and “Lunchbox”. Berkowitz left Marilyn Manson after recording and composing several songs on their second album, Antichrist Superstar, to pursue a successful solo career as “SMP” while contributing to many influential and popular bands such as Jack Off Jill and Three Ton Gate.
Offered here is a pair of Berkowitz’s personally owned and concert worn black boots. The boots have an approximately 1.5 inch heel, and four black straps around the heel. The high-top boots extend to mid-calf. There are two green circles on each sole. These shoes show light wear and are accompanied by a LOA from the family of Scott Putesky.
