Offered here is a pair of Marucci batting gloves used by legendary slugger David Ortiz. The Red Sox superstar retired after the 2016 MLB season, and saw the Red Sox retire his number “34” shortly after. Ortiz ended his career on a high note, clubbing 38 homers with an American League-best 127 RBI and a .315 batting average. These gloves are red and yellow, with a raised Marucci logo applied to the top of each hand. “Marucci” is applied to the wrist strap of the left-hand glove in white letters. Ortiz’s number “34” is applied to the underside of each wrist strap. Ortiz has signed the palm of each glove in silver marker, inscribing “GU” below each signature. These gloves come with a LOA from David Ortiz.
