Offered here is a pair of Franklin batting gloves used by legendary slugger David Ortiz. The Red Sox superstar retired after the 2016 MLB season, and saw the Red Sox retire his number “34” shortly after. A prodigious power hitter, Ortiz hit 541 home runs and appeared in 10 All-Star Games during his career. These batting gloves are black and green, with a raised Franklin logo applied to the top of each hand. A green and black MLB logo is located on the top of each wrist band, while a Franklin logo is applied to the underside of each. Ortiz’s number “34” is printed on each wrist band. Ortiz has signed each glove in silver marker, inscribing “GU” below his signature. These gloves come with a LOA from David Ortiz.
