Offered here are a pair of Columbus Clippers game pants worn by Hall of Famer Derek Jeter. Jeter spent the 1994 and 1995 seasons with the top farm club of the New York Yankees. These pants display heavy use from wear and repeated washing. There are dirt stains that remain and are present on the bottom of each leg, with additional staining on the front right and left knee. The pants are white with royal blue pinstripes and the inner waist lining having “Jeter” handwritten in black marker, along with Jeter’s number “24”. There is another name that has been handwritten next to Jeter’s name and it has been crossed out, along with part of the number. Also included are a pair of white socks. Each have “Jeter” handwritten in black marker on the foot area. This lot comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (200616C6) for the game use and a letter of provenance from Jason Moritz, who was the Columbus Clippers bat boy from 1994 to 1999 and states in his letter that he “received them from the Columbus Clippers.”
