Offered is a Derek Jeter signed New York Yankees full ticket from July 9, 2011, the game in which the former Yankees captain collected his 3,000th career hit. Jeter has signed his name in blue marker in the lower center of the ticket. With a home run in the third inning off Tampa Bay’s David Price, Jeter reached the 3,000-hits milestone in a win over the Tampa Bay Rays on July 9, 2011 at Yankee Stadium in New York. He went 5-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs on the day. Jeter was the 28th player to reach 3,000 hits and finished his career ranked sixth in MLB history in career hits and first among shortstops.
The shortstop spent his entire 20-year MLB playing career with the Yankees.
