As a shortstop, Jeter spent his entire 20-year MLB playing career with the New York Yankees. A five-time World Series champion, Jeter is regarded as the leading contributor in the Yankees' success of the late 1990s and early 2000s for his hitting, baserunning, fielding, and leadership. He is the Yankees' all-time career leader in hits (3,465), doubles (544), and games played (2,747). His accolades include 14 All-Star selections, five Gold Glove Awards, five Silver Slugger Awards, two Hank Aaron Awards, and a Roberto Clemente Award.
Offered here is a Derek Jeter signed 16x20 framed photograph that has been authenticated by Steiner Sports. The Yankee Captain is all but a lock for the Hall of Fame class of 2020 which prepares for election this coming January and has signed this color photograph in silver marker. The photograph shows Jeter in his follow through swing from his walk-off home run in Game 4 that stretched in to November, becoming the first player to hit a home run in that month - earning him the nickname "Mr. November". This photo has been matted in white with navy pinstripes and the attached plate reads "DEREK JETER 2001 - WORLD SERIES GAME WINNING HOME RUN". The photo has a Steiner Sports hologram ONLY and the signature is bold and in Near Mint or better condition. This is part of a limited edition (48/500).
