Presented is a limited-edition Derek Jeter and Phil Rizzuto dual-signed Louisville Slugger baseball bat, with an inscription by Rizzuto, “Passing the Torch.” The two former New York Yankees shortstops have each signed the black wood P72 Derek Jeter-model bat in gold marker on the barrel, with Rizzuto, a Hall of Famer, making his inscription below his signature. The bat is engraved in gold with the “100th Anniversary Yankees 1903–2003” logo on the center of the barrel. The bat is inscribed “25/25” in gold marker at the end of the barrel. Rizzuto nicknamed “The Scooter”, spent his entire 13-year baseball career with the Yankees (1941–1956), and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1994. Jeter spent his entire 20-year MLB career with Yankees (1995-2004). This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (MT00355756) for Jeter's signature and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for both Jeter and Rizzuto's signatures.
