Offered is a pair of black Adidas sneakers from National Basketball Association point guard Derrick Rose signed by the player. The black leather, cloth and vinyl sneakers have a red accent line and white embroidered letters “D-Rose” on each shoe flap and Rose has signed in silver marker “Derrick Rose #1” across the toe of each shoe, which appear to have been game-worn. Rose played one year of college basketball for the the University of Memphis before being drafted first overall by his hometown Chicago Bulls in the 2008 NBA Draft. After being named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2009, Rose, at age 22, became the youngest player to win the NBA Most Valuable Player award in 2011. Rose played for the Bulls from 2008 to 2016, and is currently a member of the New York Knicks. This item is accompanied by COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C11981, C11982).
