The current hitting coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks and former major league manager, Baylor spent 19 seasons as an outfielder on seven AL teams. His best year was 1979 when he was an All-Star, led the league in RBI, and won the AL MVP. Baylor signed and inscribed (Don Baylor MVP 1979) the gray, road jersey in bold, black Sharpie across the beam of the haloed “A” in “Angels” on the jersey’s front, with the haloed California insignia stitched on the left shoulder. Lower left front has the "Goodman & Co." manufacturers tag. Red-trimmed in navy blue, the name “Baylor” and “25” stitched on the reverse. The name was restored while the numbers, team name and shoulder patch are all original. The restoration comes from the addition of the player name after the Angels resumed having the names on the backs of their road jerseys beginning with the 1982 season, Baylor's last with the team. Signature has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA and comes with a letter of authenticity from game worn jersey expert Dave Miedema.
