The Hall of Fame tackle Anthony Muñoz wore this white Cincinnati Bengals road jersey during the early 1980’s. Muñoz, the third overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft out of USC, played his entire 13-season career with the Bengals, revolutionizing the left tackle position with his combination of size, speed, and ferocity. Muñoz was a nine-time First Team All-Pro selection and a class of 1998 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. This offered Bengals road jersey is white, with black and orange striping on the shoulders. Muñoz’s number “78” is printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in black and orange. Please note that the black on the back “78” has worn down, with the orange turning into the dominant color. “MUNOZ” is printed across the back shoulders in black numerals over a matching white nameplate. The letters are faded slightly. Several grommets are located on the back of the jersey.
Muñoz has signed the back of the jersey in black marker directly below the nameplate. He added the inscription “HOF 98” in addition to his neat signature. Please note that a crotch strap is present on the jersey. This jersey comes with a PMG LOA and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25473) covers Muñoz’s signature.
