Offered in this lot is a program from a 1996 season Lower Merion High School basketball game against Upper Darby High School signed by the Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant. Bryant, a senior at Lower Merion in 1996, led the school to the state title in 1996 just months before being selected in the 1996 NBA Draft. The 6’6” guard carried Lower Merion to a 30-3 record in his senior season, defeating Chester High School in overtime in the semifinals and knocking off Erie’s Cathedral Prep 48-43 in the state title game in Hershey. Bryant has signed the page of this program bearing the Lower Merion roster in blue pen. Bryant added his high school number, “33”, to his signature. Two additional signatures are present on the page signed by Bryant. This program comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AA01753).
