Offered is a full-color poster of the Enola Gay, signed by members of both the Enola Gay and Bockscar flight crews that flew the missions that delivered atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, leading to the end of World War II.  The photo depicts the Enola Gay on the ground.  Signed in blue marker, on the left side of the photo within the 25x30 poster, from top to bottom are: “John D. Kuharek FLIGHT ENGINEER”, “Bob Haider A&E Mechanic”, “Fred J. Olivi co-pilot”,  “Sgt. Ray Gallagher Asst. Flt. Engineer”, “Chas Sweeney Commander NAGASAKI”, “Capt. C. Albury – Pilot “Bockscar Nagasaki Aug. 9 1945”, “Fred Bock A/C #77”.  Below and to the left, in black marker, are: “Rich Nelson RADIO”, “Morris R. Jeppson Weapons Test Officer Enola Gay Mission 9 Aug. 1945” and “Dutch Van Kirk”.  In the bottom center, under the wheel of the Enola Gay, in black marker, is “Paul Tibbets” and to the bottom right in black marker is “Tom Ferrebee”. The poster has a blue border with silver letters across the top, “THE ENOLA GAY,” and across the bottom, also in silver letters with red lines above and below, the legend “THE NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, WASHINGTON, D.C. 1995”.
