Presented here is an 8 x 10 inch black and white photograph of the damaged Apollo 13 service module signed by Gene Kranz. Kranz was the lead flight director for the nearly-calamitous Apollo 13 mission, and was played by Ed Harris in the film dramatization of the events. Kranz, a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Honor, has signed this photograph in black marker, adding the inscription “Solve the Problem. Lets not make it any worse by guessing!”. Kranz also added the date, “4/13/70”, to his inscription. This item comes with a COA from JSA (T04520).
