Presented is an autograph from actor Gene Wilder on a replica “Wonka’s Golden Ticket.” Wilder has signed his name in black marker next to the word “Wonka’s” at the top of the 3 ¼ x 5 ¾ inch gold card with black lettering on one side (blank on the reverse side). The wording on the “Golden Ticket” is the same text as appeared in the 1971 musical motion picture, “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory,” which starred Wilder as the title character. The movie is an adaptation of the Roald Dahl’s 1964 novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which tells the story of young Charlie Bucket as he receives a Golden Ticket found inside a Wonka chocolate bar, and visits Willy Wonka's chocolate factory with four other children from around the world. Wilder was nominated for a Golden Globe Award as Best Actor for his role in the movie, which has become a classic over multiple airings on television since the mid-1980s.
